ANAHEIM – The Ducks have agreed to terms on a one-year contract with unrestricted free-agent center Brendan Morrison. The deal is expected to be announced Tuesday.

Morrison, set to turn 33 in August, is being brought in to anchor the club’s second line and complement No. 1 center Ryan Getzlaf.

The Ducks today, meanwhile, announced the signing of minor-league goaltender David LeNeveu.

A former reigning NHL iron man who had appeared in 542 consecutive games until a wrist injury forced him to sit out a Dec. 12 game against the Ducks at Honda Center, Morrison is coming off an injury-plagued 2007-08 campaign with the Vancouver Canucks.
