  There is no proof except in your mind that Getzlaf is a cheap shot artist. Like most physical hockey players, he’s had his share of borderline hits, but in no way does he have a reputation in the league for being dirty.

  Back up what you say and prove it. Prove that he has this reputation amongst NHL players and management, by showing us some links and comments from players, coaches, GMs, etc. That’s right, you can’t.

  Anyone who isn’t biased against the Ducks knows Getzlaf isn’t a high-hitting cheap shot puck, the proof is on the ice.

  And you can’t prove it, otherwise you would do it and wouldn’t be so defensive about having to provide the proof instead of making comments about where your head is stuck.

  And there sure is something in the air tonight. Whatever you’re smoking is clearly distorting your already bitter, little mind. Your ramblings about Pronger, insults to Ducks fans, more name calling and now bringing in Hayward show that you are one irrational, deluded, twisted, sicko. Pronger is irrelevant (as is Hayward) to the accusation that you made about Getzlaf. You can’t [i][b]back up anything you write with facts[/b][/i], so you resort to insults.   You have an opinion that is based on your blind hatred of the Ducks and Ducks players. You’ve let your biases and the purple and glittered colored glasses, red and white glasses with wings, or whatever colored glasses you wear blind you to reality.

  Here’s a dose of reality for you, and what real, respected hockey people think about Getzlaf.

  This is what Steve Yzerman (you know, one of the greatest captains and hockey players of the modern NHL age, and Team Canada’s executive director) says about Getzlaf:

  Yzerman also has said that he wants multi-dimensional players on the team who won’t put the team at risk. If Getzlaf is a cheap shot lacking in character, I doubt Yzerman would speak so highly of him. Gee, whose opinion should be valued more????? Steve Yzerman’s, or some sad, bitter little man, whose purpose in life it seems is to troll the message boards of a hockey team he hates????

  Obviously Fernando doesn’t know which Ducks are Norm & Cliffie are. Hint: the two are “named” after the characters on Cheers, but they are not those characters.

  P.S. IT IS your job to prove Getzlaf is a cheap shot; I don’t have to prove anything. The BURDEN OF PROOF is all on you because you made the accusation, not I.

  There you go again Ferdy, commenting on my screen name once again, which no one (you) cares about, which isn’t a Cheers rip off, but an homage to two players who were a big part of the Ducks success over the last several years.

  Pronger has nothing to do with this because he has a much different reputation and history in the league than Getzlaf does. Keep on throwing out the canards, including insulting Ducks fans or the Ducks, because you can’t do anything else to back up what you say.
