Carter out four more weeks with broken foot

November 21st, 2009, 6:51 pm · 4 Comments · posted by Curtis Zupke, Staff writer

Ducks center Ryan Carter will be out an additional four weeks with a broken right foot, the Ducks announced before Saturday’s game.

Carter had missed the past four games with a bruise in the foot. A second X-ray revealed a fracture, according to the team.

Carter was struck in the foot by a shot during practice earlier this month. He last played Nov.11.

    Another bad luck for Carter.

AHHHHH! Not good! Carter plays a small, but often significant role for the Ducks! He was a key factor for a successful penalty killing unit and a great side kick for Mike Brown.

Bummer. Hopefully he catches a break soon!

You were speaking my thoughts up until that last line SK. How ’bout, hopefully he doesn’t catch another break :-)

haha, yea, bad choice of words huh?!

How about we look at it like an actors “good luck”, but for hockey instead…

        “Break a foot!”

I saw him on Thursday night heading into the game, of course he was just standing there…but looked like maybe he was okay. I guess I was wrong!
