Chicago’s Hossa to play Ducks on Friday?

Just in time for the holidays … hossa

It appears that Chicago winger Marian Hossa is on the cusp of returning this week, meaning he could be in the lineup when the Blackhawks come to Honda Center on Friday afternoon.

Hossa underwent shoulder surgery this summer and has not played this season.

He signed a 12-year, $62.8 million contract with Chicago after he helped Detroit make it to the Stanley Cup Finals for the second straight season.

Hossa had two goals and an assist for the Red Wings against the Ducks in the Western Conference semifinals.
