Ducks winger Corey Perry broke Teemu Selanne’s franchise point-streak record Sunday when he recorded a point for the 18th consecutive game. perry1

Perry’s streak is the longest in the NHL this season.

He’s far from Wayne Gretzky’s record 51-game point streak, but it is impressive nonetheless.

    I hope Perry continues for a good long time, but 51 points by Gretzky?? That’s insane!

    He is a great player that is playing well right now. However, he runs into the Kings tonight, so being the Kings fan that I am, I predict his streak ends tonight (at least I hope if it doesn’t, the Kings still win the game).
